Systems to fulfill the air quality in the Roman Art National Museum, Mérida, Spain

This post shows the integration of the ventilation, heating and cooling systems in the Roman Art National Museum placed on Merida, Cáceres, Spain (Architect: Rafael Moneo)

Last May, two students and me visited the building.  Roman techniques as construction system were used. Natural light is introduced by skylights, but where are the systems to fulfill the quality of the indoor air?

A clue is given in Figure 1 (exterior view of the building). Can you see it? Figure 2 shows the main indoor gallery.

The solution: Please, check next posts :)

- elements to provide air diffusion and maintenance ,

- integration of the machines
