A building designed by Rafael Assiego will be presented at the 9th International Conference on Architecture in Athens, next July. The design of the apartments is based on one goal: respond to the current rules applying daylight and ventilation concepts of the Malaga vernacular architecture. The building has seventeen dwellings. Today I show you composition characteristics of the Larios St buildings and life cycle of the local presented in the last post. The analysed local shop has faced many changes due to its commercial use in the ground floor and the mezzanine. Today I present you the first post of a research focused on the life cycle of a store placed on 3 Marqués de Larios St, Málaga, Spain, corner with Strachan and Salinas St, see Fig. 1. This work shows the main characteristics of the vernacular architecture of the XIX century in Malaga. Malaga has a Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures in winter, hot and humid in summer with an average annual temperature of 17,9 ºC.
